The Recipe

5 c Sugar

12 oz Evaporated Milk; 1 can

1/4 lb Butter Or Regular Margarine

12 oz Marshmallow Creme Or Fluff;*

1 ts Salt

1 ts Vanilla

1 c Whole Walnut Meats

24 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

* The original recipe calls for Marshmallow Fluff, but you may only be able to find the Creme in your area. It should work. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Combine the first five ingredients in a 4-quart saucepan. Stir over low heat until blended. Bring to a boil over moderate heat, being careful not to mistake escaping air bubbles for boiling. The BOIL SLOWLY, stirring constantly, for 5 MINUTES. To the soft ball stage. Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla and nuts if used. Stir until the chips are melted. Pour into 2 buttered 9 X 9-inch pans and let cool.
