The Recipe

3 md Bananas, mashed

- (about 1 1/2 cups) 1/3 c Vegetable oil

1 ts Vanilla

1 lg Egg

1/8 ts Salt

1 1/2 c Rolled oats

1/2 c Uncooked oat bran for

- creamy-style hot cereal 1 1/2 c Mixed dried fruits such as

- raisins, apricots or dates - coarsely chopped 1/2 c Chopped walnuts or almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two large baking sheets. Mix mashed bananas, oil, vanilla, egg and salt until well blended. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Drop by tablespoons onot baking sheets about 1 inch apart. Flatten slightly. Bake till bottom edges are lightly browned, about 20 minutes.
